What exactly is it that The Hall of Fun does? What does it stand for?
The Hall of Fun is any gathering place that people get together to have fun, whether that be in a physical building sitting at a table, a park or virtually online. Eventually we will have a virtual meeting hall for everyone who wants can gather information on places and events for gaming of all sorts.
Are there citizens of The Hall of Fun?
No because there would need to be some kind of judicial structure in order to offer citizenship. Nationality only requires allegiance to some kind of ideal or idea, which is easily established through our covenant, but citizenship is defined by someone “subjecting” themselves to a political body. If there is no judicial system then what the hell would someone be “subjecting” themselves to? There’s nothing to “subject” yourself to here which is exactly noted in the covenant. There are no “teeth” associated with this nation, yet. There won’t be any sort of internal judicial system until our ranks number in the millions, then at that point we would be able to offer citizenship.
Anyone saying they are “citizens” of the Nation of The Hall of Fun do not understand that basic difference between nationality and citizenship.
Is The Nation of The Hall of Fun a republic or democracy?
Neither, it’s a monarchy. But there’s a bit more of a conversation to be had as to exactly how that operates because it’s a monarchy that offers only nationality, not citizenship. It’s sort of like the same relationship that the national seat of government in the United States has with its unincorporated territory called American Samoa.
American Samoa is an unorganized and unincorporated U.S. territory. The locals believe that having US citizenship would erode their customs that are VERY old. Because of this, when a baby is born on American Samoa, they are given noncitizen nationality. This term is called “a noncitizen national of the United States.” This very specific and surgical classification gives us an incredible view into how the relationship is between the Nation of The Hall of Fun and its nationals/ambassadors. It’s a unique relationship seen no where else on Earth because all nationals are required to be ambassadors but there is little else associated with the nationality.
How do I become a national/ambassador of The Hall of Fun?
Simply pledge allegiance to The Hall of Fun and agree to the covenant of an ambassador. Pledging allegiance to The Hall of Fun is acceptable by anyone in the world who is willing to follow the covenant. So it’s not only for people in the United States of America.
As long as you agree to the covenant and operate at peace, you’re welcome to join our ranks as an ambassador. Your job duties as an ambassador can be organizing a game night for friends and family, being a game master for a role playing adventure or just simply getting on a computer and playing a game.
All nationals of The Hall of Fun are ambassadors.
Does The Hall of Fun own or intend on owning land?
No. As far as the research has gone, owning land is not a requirement of having your own nation. An excellent example of a legal nation that does not possess any land would be the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. They issue diplomatic license plates, passports, etc, without having any land at all. This is simply proof that land is not required to be your own nation.
Think about it… why would you need land in order to pledge allegiance to something? That makes no sense. You pledge allegiance to an IDEA or to a GOAL or an INTENTION, not to a location.
The Sultan of Slowjamastan, Randy Williams, actually visited the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and you can see a video of him walking through it and talking about it here: https://youtu.be/Szzu12wwgh8.
It’s possible that we may get some land at some point, if needed, but for now the current situation is perfect without it. I don’t see any need for it right now.
When was The Hall of Fun established and where is the embassy?
The Nation of The Hall of Fun was established in January of 2025. The international embassy is currently the private non-domestic domicile of Jamie Brian Blankschan. The embassy is not currently open to the public and may be at some point in the future as our nation expands and develops additional relationships.
The embassy is located in the unincorporated city of Kingston in the unincorporated New York Republic (1846 Constitution). The legal address is 1776 Hall of Fun Lane, Funlandia, The Nation of The Hall of Fun. It has no zip code as it is not legally associated with the United States in any way beyond being a foreign government in accordance with 18 USC 11. We are friendly neighbors.
Do you issue passports and automobile plates? Are they recognized by other governments?
As per 18 USC 11, “recognition” is not required to be a foreign government. All that is required is that you be at peace.
Our “recognition” is entirely dependent upon our ambassadors continuing to reach out and have fun with others. Every action of each individual ambassador, entirely of their own will and steam, will eventually result in a greater “recognition” of The Nation of The Hall of Fun.
As for diplomatic plates, yes, you can use a template available where all you have to do is slap your nation’s logo or coat of arms on it and you can print it. You can see more about those resources on our neighbor’s site:
The Amnesty Coalition Resources and Documents page.
As for passports, we currently do not offer a passport.
How can I create my own nation?
Brandon Joe Williams goes on shows quite often explaining and breaking this down in great detail. A good video that can get you rolling on understanding how this works is here: https://youtu.be/AW5CxpE-f1I?feature=shared
